Do to the current coronavirus pandemic, all scheduled dates are subject to change.
We will be dedicating a NEW 4 x 10′ plaque displaying the names of the 230 survivors of the sinking of the U.S.A.T Dorchester. Chaplains in the armed services bring “Hope” to the Service Members. The Four Chaplains encouraged Soldiers to save themselves as the Dorchester sunk in the early hours of February 3, 1943. They gave them hope. This will be a small invite only ceremony – but afterwards everyone can come and view the plaque. This room has been made possible by a grant from the Jewish War Veterans of Pennsylvania.
